Slow flow yoga is a new approach to vinyasa yoga and is all about mindfulness, sustainability, and flowing at a slower pace. Absolutely everyone, from those who are brand new to yoga to experienced yogi, can practice and benefit from the transformative power of slow movement.
Slow but challenging, this practice is based on traditional yoga poses held longer, allowing students to have agency over their bodies, explore physical alignment, improve posture, deepen stretch and strength, and increase mental clarity and focus. Experience toning hatha yoga poses, chakra balance, combined with mindfulness, grounding techniques, somatics and breath-work. Restorative yoga, yin yoga, and yoga nidra are also woven within the sequences. Students leave this class feeling revitalized, empowered and calm, ready to take on their week.
